the essence of man

The Essence of a Man

by Judith A. Middlebrooks

The essence of a man lies not in his riches or status but in the
strength of his backbone, spirit and word. For a man without, is
like…smoke…dark smoke drifting in the night wind.

The essence of a man permeates in his word, his thought, and deed. The
strength of the spoken word, when done with love and warmth emanates an
attraction so strong for truth that it reveals itself effortlessly.

The essence of a man if envisioned is a thin flat silver ray of energy,
spiraling, which emits tones that bind a man’s word to his spirit,
credibility and integrity. When used positively these rays spin an
invisible razor sharp blue light expressing perfection in word and love.

The essence of a man deals not with size, shape or complexion but in,
what energy do I feel from you Brother? Do we vibe? Is the energy good?
Do you believe in God? Do you seem sane? Oh, I did say seem. Are you
undercover psycho? Can I let my guard down around you brother? Whoa.

The essence of a man lies in response to, do you treat me like you’d
treat your mother, your sister, you daughter? This is a reality-based
question in the game of life. If the answer is a dead silence or no,
next move is…oh hell no this is not Monopoly, or a game show…this is
life… so step.

The essence of a man lies in his ability to step up to the plate and be
a man. The decisions made dictate the life led just as intention
creates experience. So I know what I have experienced is well what you
intended for me Brother. Yeah my bad or yours baby. Follow heart, mind,
spirit and soul for the higher good and be the man God intended.

The essence of a man is the utter life force energy God chose to
breathe into the soul of man, the light that guides, strengthens and
loves. The life choices made by a man determine whether the light in
that holy breath given to him, will get brighter with each moment or
dim with each additional life experience.

The essence of man is man. In all his glory and faults, hurts and pains
sufferings and joy. Each man derives his own essence from the whispers
from God given him during prayer and meditation. Don’t close the door
on those leads, listen, and hear the word. Take the time to sit, be
still and listen. Grow, create, live, love and flow brother.

Brother listen; find your God given essence. It’s not about your house,
your car, your cash and flash, your profession or looks and especially
not your package. It’s about your backbone, your spirit, your soul, and
your ability to feel and use this greatness. Black man, White man,
Brown man, Asian man, man of every walk of life and nationality seek
out your essence and flow Brother flow.
